Arielle Emmett
Arielle Emmett is a writer, visual journalist and traveling scholar specialising in East Asia, science writing, and human interest. She has been a Contributing Editor to Smithsonian Air & Space magazine and a Fulbright Scholar (2018-9) and a specialist in both Kenya and Indonesia. Her work has appeared in Mother Jones, The Scientist, OMNI, Ms., Saturday Review, Boston Globe, Visual Communications Quarterly, Philadelphia Inquirer, Caixin (Beijing), Los Angeles Times Book Review and Globe & Mail (Canada) et al. She has taught at the International College Beijing, University of Hong Kong Media Studies Centre, and Strathmore University Law School (Nairobi). The Asia Literary Agency is representing Emmett's first science fiction novel, The Logoharp, about China and America a century from now.
